5 ways to make your room fantabulous

1 Add a white board and decorate it. I put to do, ideas, homework to be finished, and calendar on mine. I'm the kind of person who loves lists. And they work! They make you feel more organized, and they're fun to decorate each week.

2 Do crafts! This helps people (and you) to remember that you're crafty. Here's tutorials for some of the things on here...the puffball, the dixie cup lights, and the paint chip mobile. I just hotgluegunned the driftwood to the canvas.

3 Have a place to put your inspiration of the week (although I really need to update mine), a place that you can look if you're bored or out of inspiration.

4 Have something on your door to show it's your room. You wouldn't want someone to walk into your brother's room expecting yours! #awk

5 Have a desk space that you can do homework on, paint nails on, or just store your happy lappy (read: laptop). I reccommend putting a piece of plastic on the surface, and then putting pictures or other things under it. I cut up pictures from magazines, pinned them on the bulletin board, and used the scraps for the desk display (weird...I know.)

what's in my bag?

i saw grace's post and i thought i would do something too ;)

1-my hairband thingamabob. i put bobbypins, headbands (the stretchy neon kind!!), and hairbands in there.

2-my headphones. i don't know why these aren't attached to the ipod, but whatevs. i'm cool.

3-phone and ipod. i'm saving up for an iphone, but i don't have enough yet...;( so i just take both wit me. word.

4-my house key. i usually go through the garage, but this makes me feel like these are car keys. i actually can't drive. sooooo...

5. my lotion, hand sany, and babylips. funny story. i've been looking for the babylips for like 3 months, and then yesterday i finally found them in my pants. so they'd been through a couple of wash cycles. or they just hadn't been worn.

6-my gum & sunnies. i got a twelve pack at costco (haha, almost typed six pack, cause i get my abs at costco, right? yep.) for 4.99, so that's a DEAL. i got excited in the car. i also got my sunnies at F21. they're peach and fab.

eleven things.

one//i am such a nerd. i'm the kind of nerd that will point out a typo in anything, even in the middle of class. i'm the kind of nerd who will get so excited when i find the sentence in a book that says the title. i'll say "ooooohhhh! so that's why they picked that title!!"

two//i love country music. i'm constantly belting out in the car. sometimes i scare people. ha.

three//i am always making myself laugh, not others. i say a joke, and i'm the only one laughing. it's just the norm, people.

four//when american idol's on, i will always either stand up with a standing ovation even though they can't hear or see me on the tv, or i will boo quite loudly. what can i say? i'm so social i will talk to the tv in my spare time!

five//i will say babe about 6 times throughout the day. when mom asks me to get my lunch, i'll say, "sure babe." [nothing creepy implied(:] when i see the cat, i'll say, "oh hey babe. how's underneath the bed lookin this mornin?"

six//i'll make jokes while i'm studying. not just your average "why'd the chicken cross the road" jokes [altho i'm probably the only one who still says that...and laughs...], it's like when i'm studying for a test on hormones in the endocrine system, i'll say, "hormones are made in organs and then they are sent away through the blood stream..." but i'll add my own joke to it. "hormones are made in oregon and then they salem [like "sail 'em] away through the blood stream."

seven//i have cravings for cheezits on a regular basis.

eight//i will take about 3 hours on a bored and rainy saturday to totally clean my room, spotless, and the next day, bam. hurricanes and tornadoes suddenly appear on the room forecast.

nine//i will paint my nails, love them for a few days, pick off the nailpolish, and then wish i had it back on. i'm a lover, gotta tell ya.

ten//my hair style changes about 4 times on an average school day.

eleven//i betcha didn't know this, but i am allergic to peanuts. i found out in 5th grade when i had to leave school early everyday because of really bad stomach aches, and then i finally went into the doctor for allergy testing. when i found out i was allergic to peanuts, i was so sad. i had eaten peanut butter and jelly sandwhiches my entire life and didn't want to give those up. but now i've found sunbutter, which is just like peanut butter [looks and tastes the same] adn as i said earlier, i'm a lover, so i was hooked.

red carpet oscars

i got a surprise for y'all...this is the first time i have ever watched the oscars. or anything red carpet. no really. i'm not joking. since this was my first time watching, i made sure to take notes on who i loved dress, makeup, and hair wise. creepy, right? ha!

jennifer lopez...i loved her hair and makeup! i don't know how people get their hair to look so good.

and here's angelina jolie, and i loved her dress! and her hair. and her makeup. i've been trying to get that sort of wavy hair for so long!

and natalie portman. i loved her dress! it was so simple, but really pretty.

of course, sandra bullock. i love her makeup! and her, of course. have you guys seen the blind side? best. movie. ever.

cameron diaz. loved her dress! so pretty.

and octavia spencer. SPOILER ALERT COMING UP! i loved when she won, that she cried so hard. she couldn't even finish most of her sentences! so cute :)

tina fey's hair was gorg! and i loved her earrings too :)

love love love love love emma stone's dress. she was so hilarous at the oscars too! ha!

penelope cruise...i want her dress so badly!

another the help actress, viola davis. lloved her dress, and the bright green looked great on her!

and of course, will ferrel and zach galifianakis were hilarious!

snow days

now there's like a foot of snow/ice there and NO car tracks. none.zip.zero.nada.

this is all ice now. no kidding.

so pretty! now it's just freezing rain...bleh.

no kidding. i love popcorn. so much. when i found out we had some i went all crazy and said...ME. POPCORN. NOWWWWWWWW. and then i made a crazy growling noise. because, that's just normal.

honestly, i didn't think there was going to be a part two of this snow. we don't get any much snow around here. but when we do, i'm constantly running out with the camera in my flipflops and penguin pajama shirt. i strive to be attractive at any moment possible.
