i love summer.

summer is buying new bikinis for a trip to the pool. when you jump in, the splash of water that hits your face is so refreshing after a hot day.

summer is taking a delectable taste of ice cream, having it melt on your tongue.

summer is watching a baseball game, glove up and ready to catch anything that flies your way.

summer is never wanting to come home after a long vacation in the sun.

summer is watering your garden, finally being able to have some homegrown peas.

summer is staying up late just to finish that last page on a book that captures your heart and won't let you take your fingers off of its captivating pages. 

summer is the bright greens and pinks of the blooming flowers.

summer is my fave.
