NAKALELE BLOWHOLE + OLIVINE POOLS
these were natural pools carved by the waves crashing in and mechanically weathering the rock down to 3 major pools: 3 feet deep, 2 feet deep, and about 15 feet deep! you could jump off the rocks into the warm pools heated by the sun. many people don't know about these pools because there is a danger sign and it's hidden behind cliffs.

overview from the cliff! there was a blowhole and many different pools and fish, lizards, and salamanders. the waves were incredibly high and the water was very rough!

SNORKELING AT KA'ANAPALI
the snorkeling at ka'anapali beach was by far the best. we saw teal coronet fish (skinny fish that had a teal color and swam tear the top of the water), yellow angelfish, unicorn surgeounfish, and many turtles! we saw almost every species we were given on the paper from a snorkeling shop. they also had very good boogie boarding!

WE STAYED AT PAPAKEA RESORT
Over spring break, our family took a 9 day trip to Maui! It was the funnest vacation I've ever had! We snorkled, boogie boarded, and swam alot! We took a hike down to the Olivine pools which was definitely a highlight!
